My Attempt

This was such an easy slow cooker loaf cake recipe to follow. Not only was the ingredients list reasonably short. With every day, mostly store cupboard ingredients.

But the method was easy too. As it used the all-in-one method. Then after making the basic sponge batter. I just had to split the quantity into 2. Flavouring one half with a cocoa and cinnamon mixture. And the other half with mashed banana.

Following this easy recipe was quick and easy. And the end result was exactly, if not better! As shown in the photo in the cookbook.

This is definitely one of the best and most delicious slow cooker recipes I’ve tried so far. The chocolate marble loaf cake not only tasted very good. The mix of chocolate/cinnamon with the banana worked very well.

But I was also impressed by the texture of the loaf cake itself. Which because of the steamy environment of the slow cooker method. Gave the resulting loaf cake, a very moist, tender and light texture.
